Bakersfield Neuroscience and Spine Institute (BNSI), located in Bakersfield, California, is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, offering the latest proven technological advancements for the treatment of neurological disorders. Our mission is to provide superior care, prompt evaluation, diagnosis and treatment through surgical and non-surgical intervention.
We care for a myriad of neurological problems with our multidisciplinary team comprised of seven physicians. This team approach ensures that patients will receive comprehensive, targeted care from specialists who are familiar with the individual’s unique needs. Our physicians are board certified in neurosurgery and neurology. In addition, our team encompasses family practice and preventative medicine. Well-trained physician assistants assist our specialists, along with a committed support staff.
Using advanced technology and a wealth of clinical experience, we perform a wide variety of neurological procedures annually—all with the goal of restoring quality of life. Established protocols allow the patient to be evaluated promptly and actively participate in the decision-making and treatment process. Our experience indicates that those who become participants are more likely to achieve an optimal level of healing and recovery.
We accept most insurance plans, including workers’ compensation. Our staff is well-trained to coordinate all aspects of care related to Kern County’s injured workers.
